Why oil cleanse?

The top layer of skin is beneficial and contains the hydro-lipid-barrier and acid mantle. Meaning it is your skin's waterproof seal, helping the skin retain water and shielding you from foreign substances trying to enter your body. The acid mantle is the natural layer of acidic oils on the skin that fights acne.
